Legal
Privacy, terms, cookies and data handling for 369: every policy governing the app and this website, in one place, with a plain-English summary of what each one says.
The short version
Legal pages are usually written so that nobody reads them. This one is a summary of the three documents that actually govern your use of 369, written so that you can decide whether you need to read the full text.
The summary is not the agreement. Where this page and a full policy differ, the full policy is the one that binds both of us.
Where your writing lives
On your device. 369 has no sign-up and no login. Your intention, the lines you write, your streak, your reminder times and your settings are stored on your own phone, not in an account on our servers.
Two consequences follow, and the second is the one people are surprised by. We cannot read what you write. We also cannot recover it: if you delete the app or change phones, it is gone, and there is no backup for us to restore.
We do collect anonymous analytics about how the app and this website are used, and the app can record anonymised playback of interface sessions, which is off unless you agree to it and masks what you type. Neither is tied to your name, because we never asked for it.
What we do not promise
369 is a writing and reflection practice. It is not medical, psychological, financial or professional advice, and nothing in it is a substitute for care from someone qualified to give it.
We make no promise that writing an intention will produce any particular outcome. Not money, not a relationship, not a job, not a change in health. Outcomes depend on your decisions, your circumstances, other people and luck. Any service that promises otherwise is one you should treat with suspicion.
If you are struggling with your mental health, please speak to a professional rather than to an app.
Subscriptions
The practice is free. The optional PRO tier is $4.99 per month or $39.99 per year, and it renews automatically until you cancel.
Purchases are made through the App Store, which means Apple holds the subscription, not us. We cannot cancel it for you, we cannot see it, and refunds are Apple’s decision rather than ours. Cancel from Settings on your device, and cancel before you delete the app, because deleting the app does not stop the renewal.
What you may not do
Use the app for anything unlawful, attempt to break, probe or reverse engineer it, resell access, or scrape this website. The name 369, the wordmark, the writing on this site and the design of the app belong to Commercium Limited and are not yours to reuse commercially without permission.
You need to be 18 or over to agree to the Terms. Under that, a parent or guardian has to agree on your behalf.
The limits of our liability
The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose you have in mind for it.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or opportunities, or for any decision you take on the strength of something you wrote in the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything on this page.
Which law applies
These agreements are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If it ever came to a dispute, both sides submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England, or of the EU country you live in.
The full documents
Everything summarised above is set out properly in these three. They are the versions that count.
Privacy Policy
What is collected, what is stored on your device rather than ours, who processes it on our behalf, how long anything is kept, and the rights you have over it under UK GDPR. Read the Privacy Policy.
Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Commercium Limited: eligibility, acceptable use, subscriptions and renewals, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution and governing law. Read the Terms of Service.
Cookie Policy
What this website sets in your browser, what each cookie is for, and how to refuse the ones that are not strictly necessary. Read the Cookie Policy.
Deleting your data
Because your practice is stored on your device rather than in an account, you do not need to ask us and you do not need to wait for a reply. Deleting the app removes your intention, your written lines, your streak and your settings from the phone, immediately and completely.
If you want to exercise a data right that does concern us, such as a request about analytics data or a complaint about how we handle it, write to support@369.zone and we will answer.

Changes
We update these documents when the product changes or the law does. Material changes will be flagged in the app or on this site rather than made quietly, and each document carries its own effective date.
